Pecan Spread Ice Cream

What a better way to make and eat Butter Pecan Ice Cream! Of course, I used my Pecan Spread so the correct name for this ice cream is Pecan Spread Ice Cream. You can have a delightful treat without colorants, artificial flavors nor sugars and preservatives. This ice cream contains healthy fats, nature’s carbohydrates and clean, lean protein. I made the ice cream with a base ofgreek yogurt and frozen bananas. You can add toppings when serving or use it as a topping like I did with this Vanilla Pancakes.

Ingredients:                                                                                                                                                                                                                                              for 5 people, serving size 1/2cup

4 frozen and chopped bananas (about 3oz each)           2t vanilla essence         5T Pecan Spread     1/2cup grek yogurt    1/2tsp salt and nutmeg             a small piece of fresh ginger       1/2tsp nutmeg     1/4cup water        1/2cup ice cubes

Procedure:                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                  In a food processor add all of the ingredients except the Pecan Spread and greek yogurt. Once it gets an ice cream consistency, add the Pecan Spread and greek yogurt.

Process until ice cream consistency is reached.

Serve the ice cream or transfer it to pop molds and refrigerate.
