Lets put a side the traditional Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwich and lets make pancakes instead! Peanut Butter and Jelly Pancake Sandwich! A pancake with organic peanut butter and a homemade berry jelly, what else can you have better than this? The pancakes are vanilla flavored, sweet and juicy. You do not need syrup to eat these pancakes. Just take your hand and give it a bite.
Ingredients: yield: 1 person
For the pancakes: 1/4 cup whole wheat flour 2tsp brown sugar 1/4tsp baking powder 1/2tsp vanilla essence a pinch of salt nutmeg and cinnamon to taste water for mixing
For the spread: 1T peanut butter 1T your favorite jelly
Procedure: In a bowl mix all the ingredients for the pancakes and add water until the consistency is reached. Turn on a stove top and add coconut oil in spray to the pan. Divide the batter in two batches and pour the panakes mixture in the pan. Cook until bubble appear and then flip it and let cook 30secs more. Repeat with the remainig batter. While the half of the pancake mixture is cooking, transfer the cooked pancake in the serving dish. Now, spread the peanut butter and jelly.
When the other pancake is ready put it on top for the sandwich to be ready. Finally top it with berries.
