Vegan Parmesan Cheese? No problem! This is a five mins recipe with just three ingredients. I added chives from my garden to add them a different flavor but it is not necessary if you don’t have this ingredient. You can no spice or add your favorite spice such as basil, oregano or garlic.
You may add this to your salads, tofu, tempeh, quinoa and pastas.
This recipe is an adaptation from the Minimalist Baker
yield: 10 servings
serving size: 1 T
3/4 cup raw cashews
3T nutritional yeast
1T chopped chives (optional and may use other spices as well)
3/4 tsp sea salt
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1- Blend everything into your food processor until parmesan cheese consistency.
2- Use immediately or store in a container in the refrigerator.
