Nice Cream On Top of a Waffle

This fulfilling breakfast consist of a protein waffle made with vegan protein powder and is topped with a spirulina nice cream, papaya, berries, a drizzle of organic coconut oil and walnuts. I did a Spirulina Nice Cream but you can make it with any flavor (berries, chocolate, etc). If you are looking for a fun and energizing breakfast, this is the one! This dish is full of nutrition, fun, texture, deliciousness, temperatures and colors. If you are the kind of person that likes to feel both, warm and cool temperatures in a dessert, now you can have it for breakfast and guess what?! It is totally vegan, healthy and guilt-free!

Ingredients:

yield: 1 person

For the waffle:

1/4 cup whole wheat flour

2T vegan protein powder

1/4tsp baking powder

a pinch of salt

cinnamon to taste

water for mixing

For the nice cream:

powder from a spirulina capsule

a chopped and frozen banana

2T water (if necessary)

Additonal:

A drizzle of organic coconut oil

Papaya

Berries

Walnuts

Procedure:

For the waffle:

1- Pre heat the waffle iron on maximum heat.

2- In a bowl, mix all of the dry ingredients and carefully mix with water until consistency.

3- Pour all of the batter into the waffle iron. Close it and flip it.

4- Cook for 3 minutes. Flip the machine and let cook three more minutes.

5- Carefully, take out the waffle and transfer it to the serving dish.

For the Nice Cream:

1- Blend all of the ingredients in the food processor until nice cream consistency.

Assembly:

1- On top of the served waffle, add the nice cream.

2-Finally, add all of the toppings and enjoy!
