Mango and Spirulina Nice Cream

As you see in the picture the mango nice cream plus the spirulina nice cream made a BEAUTIFUL combination of colors in HARMONY. I am going to consider this combination for a wall in my apartment (hahahaha). So I made a double nice cream flavor consisting of mango and spirulina. Mangoes and Spirulina are both rich in antioxidants and help to lower bad cholesterol. Because mangoes are rich in Vitamin A, the are great for eyes health and the amount of vitamin E improves the skin health. Mango contains significant amount of copper that help with digestion. As to the spirulina I bet that you had read many thing of this algae in many of my post. It is an ancient algae rich in phytochemicals and amino acids that are essential to non-meat eaters (vegans!). The Spirulina comes in powder on capsules. When used in powder you can add them to ANYTHING! Spirulina brings a LOT of HEALTH and FUN to your food and to your life.

Ingredients:

yield: 2 servings

For the mango nice cream:

a whole mango pealed and cut in slices

2 bananas frozen and chopped

For the spirulina nice cream:

2 chopped and frozen banana

powder from 1 spirulina capsule

Suggested toppings:

Chocolate Rawnola

ffisges

blueberries

Procedure:

For the mango nice cream:

1- Blend everything in the food processor until ice cream consistency.

2- Pour half of the mango nice cream in the serving dishes.

For the spirulina nice cream:

1- Blend everything in the food processor until ice cream consistency.

2- Serve half of the nice cream to the serving dishes.
