Hemp Protein Oatmeal

Hemp sedds comes form the Cannabis Sativa plant, but do not be afraid to consume it because it is not a drug and it will no even be registered on a drug test! Hemp seeds are obviously the seeds of these type of plants. This food is powerful in omegas, protein and fiber. They contain all of the essential amino acids and are high in phytonutrients that protects your cells, tissues, inmunity and organs. You can sprinkle them on salads or as toppings for many meals. Form hemp seeds you can even make milk, butter or oil for cooking!

Hemp protein is an alternative for vegan people because it is a clean and excelent source of protein that will also provide you fiber. It is more difficult to dilute it than cassein or whey protein so you may use a protein ball. Hemp protein also comes in different flavors such as strawberry, vanilla or chocolate and it is usually green color. The unflavored hemp protein taste amazing with banana. For making this oatmeal and diluted the protein powder with a mashed banana and then transfer it to a pot with the oats. This dish is excelent for a pre or post workout.

Ingredients:                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                             yield: 1 person

1/2cup oats      3T hemp protein powder      1.5oz mashed banana      1/4tsp vanilla essence        1cup water

Toppings:   1.5sliced banana     chopped strawberries      1T peanut butter

Procedure:                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                               Mahed the banana and set aside. In a bottle for diluting protein powders or in a glass with a fork, dilute the hemp protein powder. Then, add the water in a saucepan and turn on the stove on medium heat. Add the vanilla, diluted protein, mashed banana and oats. Know, give it a stir and let it boil. Lower the heat and turn off the stove if the oatmeal is creamy and cooked.

Transfer the oat into the serving dish and add the sliced banana, some fresh sliced strawberries and the peanut butter
