Chocolate Fudge Granola

Seriously, this is the best granola I have ever made and for the first attempt! I admit that I WAS not skillful on cooking granola but those times passed! By constantly making granola, I had understand and learn the science of making it. Here are the tips for a perfect granola:

1- Amounts!

It is very important to have the correct ratio between the dry and liquid ingredients such as oats, nuts and honey and oil.

2- Pre-heat the oven!

The first thing you MUST do is to pre-heat your oven because that first contact with the hot temperature will influence in the result of your granola. It also substracts time to the cooking.

3- Let it cool completely!

One of the mistakes we make is that we store the granola in the container when it is still warm. You have to let it cool completely in order for the clumps to form and to reach a crunchier granola.

Papaya Sunshine’s Hunky Chunky Chocolate Granola has the perfect balance between a nutty and cocoa flavor. Besides the texture and flavor that the roasted nuts and seeds add, they contribute essential fats and protein.

This powerful food has changed my life. Since I started mastering my granola skills, I no longer buy processed and sugary cereals or granolas. I feel more confident and satisfy eating a home made granola. The advantage of making your own granola is that you can make your own variation and do not get bored of the same flavor and textures.

Papaya Sunshine has other vegan, fun and delightful recipes and dishes for you to make. I really recommend you to follow her on her Instagram account to stay tune of her recipes.
