Who are CHOCOLATE LOVERS like me!?

As I have been telling you, I am in LOVE with Rawnola. It is so chewy that it does not upset my jaw and it has so many clumps that fascinate me! Like the granola that comes in different flavors, I was wondering if the same can happen with the rawnola. So I played in my kitchen and create this CHOCOLATELICIOUS RAWNOLA! The recipe is VERY easy. Simply add 1/2 cup of unsweetened cocoa powder to the regular rawnola recipe. You can also add raw cacao nibs for more texture and chocolate explosion!

Casually, I made this Chocolate Rawnola, during the Coffee and Chocolate Expo weekend. Now, I have many ideas for more add-ons! My creativity is activated thanks to all that chocolate and coffee! But why not to add coffee flour to this recipe also!? Be my guest! I suggest to add about a tablespoon or two of coffee flour to the mixture in the food processor.

I added walnuts to the Chocolate Rawnola because they are my favorite nuts to eat entirely. I love their flavor, texture and all their healthy and nutritional properties. The best fruits to pair up with this dish are raspberries, strawberries and bananas!

Ingredients:

yield: 8 cups

2 cups oatmeal

1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

30 dates

1 cup raisins

1T cinnamon

1 cup walnuts

Optional:

1.5 T coffee flour

1/4 cup raw cacao nibs

Procedure:

1- In a food processor add all of the ingredients except the walnuts and cacao nibs.

2- Blend until crumbs formed.

3- In the storing bowl, add a handful of walnuts and add a layer of the rawnola. Add a layer of cacao nibs also.

4- Continue layering until you had store all the rawnola.

Enjoy best as a cereal with fruits and almond milk!
