Pear Oatmeal


This Pear Oatmeal is delicious and smooth. It has a perfect balance of sweetness. It is made of pear puree or you may blend the pear as a juice. Take one pear and chop it in small piece. Add them to a blender and blend with water until desire consistency (puree or juice). I used 2/3cup of oatmeal and 1 cup pear puree/juice (play with the consistency). I added an allspice and two small cloves. I topped it with rasberries, blackberries, pieces of pear and almond butter.


Ingredients:                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                          yield: 1 person

2/3 cup oats           1cup pear puree/juice           one allspice and 2cloves                                                                                                                                                                    Optional toppings: black berries, rasberries, almond butter, pieces of pear



In a casserole bring the pear puree/juice, oats and spices to a boil.


Stir cautiously and then, lower the heat until fully cooked. Turn off the stove top and transfer the oatmeal to a deep dish. Add the best toppings for you!
