I made this salad that consist of tofu, sauteed onions, baked potatoes and lettuce. It is a simple salad and you can add colors with tomatoes or carrots. I cooked the tofu with soy sauce and garlic. These are strong but balanced ingredients that will add flavor to the tofu. I compared tempeh vs tofu in this entry: Tempeh. Tofu is way less firm and lacks of flavor. This brand of tofu has 7g of fat, 0 g of carbs and 11g of protein for 3oz.
Another element of the salad was complex carbohydrates. I baked potatoes seasoned with paprika, oregano and nutmeg. Bake them for 15mins each side (totals 30 mins) and thats it! You can read detailed instructions at this entry: Sweet Potato Wedges
1T soy sauce
1/2 tsp garlic
1- Turn on a pan on medium heat and drizzle olive oil.
2- Cut the tofu in your preferred style. Transfer the tofu to the cooking pan and add the soy sauce and garlic.
3- Cook it for 10 mins or until the tofu is golden.
4- Once done, turn off the stove top.
5- For the salad, simply place the ingredients on your plate and enjoy!
