Baked Chocolate Oatmeal for Breakfast

Are you craving brownies? Because I am! You can read my Raw Brownies and Vegan Brownies recipes. I considered brownies an excellent dessert because they have healthy fats, antioxidants (from the cocoa) and protein. Well, it is important to say that these apply only to raw or vegan brownies because otherwise they may have unhealthy fats, may be high in carbs and poor on protein. But when saying “CHOCOLATE”, only a few can ignore.

I had created this recipe which is a brownie that you can have for breakfast because it is high in fiber, low in sugar, contains complex carbohydrates and have quality protein. You may enjoy it with fruits and yogurt.

Ingredients:

2 cups oats

2/3 cup cocoa powder

1/4 cup organic agave

1 cup vegan milk

1.5 cups of water

Strawberries for topping

Procedure:

1- In a big pot add all of the ingredients except the strawberries and cook as you normally cook an oatmeal.

2- Once it is done, turn on the oven on 180°C.

3- Transfer the cooked oatmeal in a squared pan and place a strawberry on top of each square.

4- Baked for 30 mins.

5- Take out from the oven and you caplet it cool completely or immediately cut it into squares and serve.
