Naturally Sassy’s Peanut Spread and Chocolate Cheesecake

A chocolate and peanut lover can’t ask for more. This Raw Peanut Spread and Chcocolate Cake is the king of the Peanut and Chocolate Kingdom. It has a perfect texture between the crunchyness of the crust, the gooeyness of the peanut layer and the smootheness of the chocolate mousse.  The aroma while making the cake of the cocoa powder and peanut spread was making me crazy. I was flying into heaven and finally arrived when I took my first bite.

It may concern you that this cake is high in fats, nut do not worry because they are essential fatty acids that your body use for its correct functionality. So enjoy each bite of this Raw Peanut Spread and Chocolate Cake.



yield: about 12 pieces

For the crust:

1 cup oats

1 cup cashews

1 cup pitted dates

1T water

2T cacao powder

For the peanut layer:

1 cup Icadelicias Peanut Spread

1T organic coconut oil

1 cup almond milk

1/3 cup pitted dates

For the chocolate mousse:

1 ripe avocado

1 banana

1/4 cup organic coconut oil

1/3 cup cacao powder

1/3 cup pitted dates

For decoration:


Slices of strawberries


For the crust:

1- Process the cacao powder, oats and cashews until mixed. Transfer to a bowl

2- Now, add the date swith the water until a paste has formed.

3- Mix with the cacao powder, oats and cashews dough in the circular mold and place in the fridge.


For the peanut layer:

1- In the food precessor add all of the ingredients until completely smooth.

2- Spread evenly on top of the base and place in the freezer again.WP_20160603_010

For the chocolate mousse:

1- Blend all of the ingredients in the food processor until homoheneous and smooth.

2- Pour evenly on top of the peanut layer and store in the fridge again.


For serving:

1- Take out from the fridge and serve with the strawberries and peanuts.
