Vegan Brownies and Raw Brownies are not the same! Their flavor, texture and cooking method are very different. You can make raw brownies, vegan brownies or raw vegan brownies,. In my blog, I provide you both recipes, raw and vegan. Before sharing with you these two delicious and healthy recipes, let me explain you the vegan and raw concepts.
Veganism is a lifestyle of no eating anything from animal source and neither wearing any clothe that comes from an animal. Raw is a lifestyle where you eat uncooked food. Not always a raw lifestyle is vegan but vegan is always vegan! When you combined raw with vegan, personally for me, is one of the most beautiful, fun, creative, earthing and conscious lifestyle. I discovered this lifestyle in Instagram and since, I had learn so much about it.
A vegan based diet includes starchy carbohydrates such as rice, quinoa, potatoes, etc. Contrary to a raw based diet that includes carbohydrates such as fruits and veggies. Raw diet also includes seeds and nuts. These past few weeks I have been able to do raw cookies and brownies and I LOVE IT! It is very fun, simple, nutritious and delicious. All I need is a strong food processor, a mold and a fridge to store it.
Vegan brownies still my favorite because I like to feel the cakey texture an I love the cashew frosting on top of them! Raw brownies are gooey and delicious. Now, finally, I will share with you the both recipes and let you try for yourself which one is the most that you liked!
