Papaya is another super healthy tropical fruit. It is best known for its digestive benefits and is most consume as a shake. This time I made an ice cream. I purely add one banana and one cup of papaya. This two refreshing ingredients make a perfect flavor for me so I did not add vanilla nor cinnamon but feel free to add spices. Occasionally, I may add clove, allspice, cinnamon, nutmeg and vanilla. Besides, to make it more medicinal, you can add ginger and tumeric.
If you add toppings such as greek yogurt, nut butter, seeds and other fruits, you can make this a main dish like your breakfast or lunch in a hot summer day.
Ingredients: yield: 1 person:
1 frozen and chopped banana 1cup frozen and chopped papayas water for mixing
Optional: cinnamon, cloves, allspice, vanilla, ginger, tumeric, nutmeg
Procedure: In a food processor or blender add all of the ingredients and press until ice cream consistency. Transfer the Papaya Ice Cream to the serving bowl or glass and eat it as you prefer!
