This waffles have pistachio, peach, dark chocolate and a greek yogurt suce. The pistachios in the mixture give it a crunchy texture. The dark chocolate chips still melting inside the waffle and it gives a sensation of eating a creamy chocolate cake. The peaches are ideal for some refreshing on summer and the greek yogurt brings some protein.
Ingredients: yield: 1 person
1/4cup whole wheat flour 2tsp brwon sugar 1/2tsp vanilla 1tsp baking powder a dash of cinnamon and nutmmeg 1T dark chocolate chips 1T pistachios water for mixing
Additional: 50g chopped peach additional pistachios 1/4cup greek yogurt 1/2tsp cocoa powder a tip of honey 2T vegan milk
Procedure: First, turn on the waffler on maximum heat. Second, mix the flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, and baking powder in a bowl and mix. Now, add the vanilla and mix with water until waffle consistency. Add the pistachios and dark chocolate chips and mix once again to incorporate them. Pour all of the batter into the waffler maker and let cook about five minutes each side or turn when the machine has indicated it. Once cooked, transfer it to the serving dish.
While the waffle is cooking, mix the greek yogurt with the honey, cocoa and vegan milk. Mix until to form a sauce.
For assembly, pour the greek yogurt sauce over the waffle and topped it with more pistachios and the chopped peaches.
