Peach Ice Cream

Peaches are native to China and they mean friendship and inmortality. Peaches are moderates in antioxidants, vitamin A, B1 and C. They are rich in potassium, iron and fluoride. Peaches contain health promoting flavonoid poly phenolic antioxidants such as lutein, zea-xanthin and ß-cryptoxanthin. These compounds help act as protective scavengers against oxygen-derived free radicals and reactive oxygen species (ROS) that play a role in aging and various disease processes. Peaches can avoid hair loss and reduce anxiety. It’s selenium protects the cell from damage. This low calorie fruit helps to remove worms in the intestine.

Ingredients:                                                                                                                                                                                               yield: 1 person

1.5chopped and frozen bananas            1.5 small peach           a pinch of cinnamon and vanilla           water for blending

Optional toppings: dates, cinnamon, fruits, nuts, coconut oil, greek yogurt, nut butter

Procedure:                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                Blend all of the ingredients in a blender with water until ice cream consistency. Transfer the ice cream to a jar or deep dish and add the loved toppings.WP_20150701_002
