Banana, Pomegranate and Almond Butter Quesadilla

This “quesadilla” is sweet, healthy, and delicious. It is quick and easy to prepare. All you need is a tortilla (I used brown rice tortilla from Freshmart), almond butter, banana and pomegranate arils. When toasted the almond butter will melt and the banana will get juicier.


Ingredients:                                                                                                                                                                                                                                             yield: 1 person

1 torilla        1T almond butter       a banan in slices (2-3oz)       about 1/3 pomegrante arils


Procedure:                                                                                                                                                                         Take out a tortilla and spread almond butter all over the surface.


Place the banana slices in on half of the tortilla and do the same with the arils.


Fold the quesadilla in half.


You can heat in the oven for 10mins at 180°F or do it in a pan during three minutes on each side.
