The spices combined in this apple pancakes make them tasted like chai. Inside they have apples and almonds that spread out their flavors when cooked in the pan. If you let the pancakes mixture sit at night you will have an intense flavor. In each bite you will get a piece of apple and almond. The almonds get toasted when cooking the panckes which added a smoky flavor.
Ingredients: yield: 1 person
1/4cup whole wheat flour a pinch of cinnamon, nutmeg and salt 1T almonds 1/4tsp baking powder 50grams apple chopped 2tsp brwon sugar ginger water to mix
Additional: 1/3cup greek yogurt 50g apple chopped a drizzle of honey
Procedure: Mix all the ingrredients except apples and almonds and mix with the ginger water until pancake consitency. Now, add the apples and the almonds and stir. Turn on the stove top at medium heat and add coconut oil spray. Pour the mixture and flip them once their color has turned darker and bubbles appeared and cook 45secs more.
Transfer them to a serving dish and add the freek yogurt and chopped apple.
Drizzle honey on the pancakes
