Maybe this sounds weird but actually it is a very healthy infusion and very refreshing. Citrics are known for containing vitamin C and for boosting other flavors. Adding a citric zest to something, will facilitate the digestion.
This cacao and orange crepes are juicy and delicious. I topped them with pistachios, oranges, dark chocolate chips, a little bit of hemp seeds and a drizzle of coconut milk.
Ingredients: yield: 1 person
1/4cup whole wheat flour 1T cacao powder 2tsp brwon sugar natural orange juice a pinch of salt and nutmeg
For the filling: 1/3cup greek yogurt
Toppings: 50g orange 1tsp hemp seeds 1T dark chocolate chips 1tsp coconut milk 1T pistachios
Procedure: In a bowl mix all the dry ingredients for the crepe. For the orange juice, blend 50 grams of an orange with water. I used ginger water. Then, add the juice to the crepe mixture until crepe cinsistency. Turn on a pan and spray coconut oil. Pour all the batter and cook during 2mins until the edges are crispy and the center is firm. Flip it and cook 45secs more. Then, transfer the crepe to the serving dish, add the greek yogurt and fold the crepe. Finally, add the toppings.
