Mint Oatmeal

Menta  1                                                                                                                This is  a jar full of freshness! Either overnight or hot the mint flavor is pretty refreshing at any time of the day. If you have a mint plnat you may take the leaves and add them to the oatmeal. Otherwise, you can use peppermint natural flavor which is more intense. You can also make a combination of both. I topped this oatmeal with different type of berries, figs, almonds and dark chocolate.


Ingredients:                                                                                                                                                                       (1 person)

1/2tz oats     2drops or 1/4tsp peppermint extract     1cup water, or ginger water

Toppings: Figs, berries, greek yogurt, almonds, dark chocolate

Menta  4                                                                                                                  Procedure:                                                                                                                                                                       In a casserole, pour the water and add the oats. Once it start to boil, add the peppermint extract. When oat looks creamy and cooked.


Turn off the stove and transfer the hot oatmeal to a serving deep dish. Finally, topped it with incredible and fun fruits, nuts, seeds, yogurt or even dark chocolate.


For the overnight mint oat, just add the water and oat to the jar and mix well, at this step you may also add chia or hemp seeds. When eating, add the toppings.
